Service Technician – Laboratory equipment

MCL is an established and successful company in the laboratory equipment market and is seeking an Electronics Technician with proven field service & repair experience, ability to troubleshoot at circuit board level and a passion for Service to the Customer.

We are based in Linbro Park. This role will report directly to the Technical Manageress and work in a small team.

Diploma or Degree: T4 or N6

Overview

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree: T4 or N6(Light Current) – a must
Min 2 years’ experience in the Service/Repair and/or Calibration Industry with proven track record.
Own Car and valid Driver’s Licence
South-African Citizen with Passport Read and understand electronic circuit and wiring diagrams
Excellent technical/electronic experience

Responsibilities

Service, Repairs, Calibration of general and scientific laboratory equipment
Manage paperwork
Installation, commissioning of laboratory equipment (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Adhere to quality management systems in place to (ISO 17025 Accreditation.
Onsite servicing, including but not limited to: travel to clients Nationally and beyond SA borders to e.g. Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, etc.
Maintain customer relations – Technical advice to customer
