Order Cancellations, Return & Refund Policy
Order Cancellations:
Orders are firm and not subject to cancellation. Where cancellation of an order has been approved by management of Monitoring and Control Laboratories, the purchaser will become liable for a cancellation/handling fee of no less than 20% of the original selling price, plus the cost of shipping the goods back to the country of origin. Special order items cannot be cancelled.
Returns and Refunds:
No goods may be returned to Monitoring and Control Laboratories without the written authorisation of Monitoring and Control Laboratories.
Authorisation to return products damaged during delivery must be requested within 3 days of delivery. Monitoring and Control Laboratories has the right to repair and return damaged products.
Authorisation for the return of products which fail to meet current published manufacturer’s specifications must be requested in writing within 28 days of delivery. Monitoring and Control Laboratories will assist customers, at customers’ expense, to obtain any manufacturer’s warranty consistent with that granted to Monitoring and Control Laboratories.
Authorisation for the return of products, other than those damaged during delivery, delivered in error or those that do not meet specification, must be requested within 10 days of delivery.
The acceptance of returns is also subject to the returns policy of the supplier of the goods to Monitoring and Control Laboratories.
Credit will be granted less handling fees, and fees charged by the supplier to return the product and freight or delivery charges and duties that may have been paid and will only be generated once the credit from the supplier of Monitoring and Control Laboratories has been received.
Goods will only be considered for credit if returned in original packing unused and in a resaleable condition. Returns cannot be made for: –
- open chemicals or diagnostics
- refrigerated or other perishables
- items with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
- special ordered items or items manufactured to order
- discontinued items
- items not purchased from Monitoring and Control Laboratories
Authorisation will be subject to the condition that the products are returned to Monitoring and Control Laboratories warehouse or to the manufacturer or other source and by the method advised by Monitoring and Control Laboratories. The costs of return are for the customer account.
Refunds will only be made as credits for account customers or where the account is paid up. Refunds can take up to 21 working days to process following receipt of the goods.
Monitoring and Control Laboratories will not accept any claims for shortages or breakages where the Purchaser has accepted in writing the receipt of goods without checking.
